Artist Statement

The creative process moves me in many different directions: Jewelry, Ceramics, Collage and Watercolor are just some of the many mediums in which I work. Certain themes seem to be consistent in all aspects of my art:: fertility, dependency, the human body, sex, beauty, taboos, religion, children, etc. Some of my artwork makes people smile; some make people cringe; and some make people laugh. As an artist, I believe making people feel something, anything, while looking at my work is an accomplishment.
